2023 Greater Bay Area Automation Industry Summit Sponsored by MEGMEET Ended Successfully

On the afternoon of June 17th, with the theme “Smart Manufacturing, Made in China Leading”, 2023 Greater Bay Area Automation Industry Summit and Shenzhen Industrial Automation Industry Association Member Conference, sponsored by Megmeet, was successfully held at the Antiamerlan Hotel in Bao'an District, Shenzhen.

 

This conference gathered new theories, new technologies, and new achievements and representatives from various sectors including industry, academic, research, and application. It invited over 400 participants including leaders, experts, scholars, media representatives, well-known companies, and industry elites.

During the summit, Wang Wenhua, Director of the Equipment Manufacturing Industry Division of Shenzhen Industry and Information Technology Bureau, and Yuchi Jian, Second-level Inspector of the High-tech Division of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, delivered speeches. Industry experts such as Dr. Chen Yidong, Postdoctoral Fellow in Electrical and Engineering at Zhejiang University, Dr. Wang Shuhua, Information Director of the Business Group at Foxconn, Professor Wang Xiaohao from Tsinghua University, and Academician Duan Guangren from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, also gave speeches.

Dr. Liao Haiping from Megmeet spoke about the opportunities and challenges of domestic replacements in the field of automation. He introduced Megmeet's development, integrated solutions in industrial automation, market scale, and the opportunities & challenges of industrialization in China.

Dr. Liao pointed out that in the field of automation, we should increase investment in the research and development of domestic replacements. With the courage to compete with foreign products in high-end area, we should enhance our manufacturing capabilities and scale. High-end equipment and critical equipment should adopt a one-main-one-backup approach to provide opportunities for domestic products. Strengthening service of domestic companies is essential to reduce concerns regarding domestic replacements.

Subsequently, at Shenzhen Industrial Automation Industry Association Member Conference, Megmeet was elected as the Second President Unit. Vice General Manager Zhao Yingjun attended the inauguration ceremony and expressed gratitude to the association and its member units for their support and recognition.

In the future, as the new President Unit, Megmeet will strengthen communication with both new and existing member units, assist the association in fully playing its role as a bridge and link, and further promote the development of industrial automation.

During the conference, outstanding member companies were recognized, and Megmeet was honored with the association's award Outstanding Core Component Supplier. Vice General Manager Zhao Yingjun, on behalf of the association, presented the award.

After the conference, Megmeet's evening event began, and the formal dinner commenced.

2023 Greater Bay Area Automation Industry Summit and the third Shenzhen Industrial Automation Industry Association Member Conference of the first session, sponsored by Megmeet, came to a successful conclusion.
