Application requirements

The Wode press needs to adjust the speed of the motor when processing different sheet metal structures. The function requirements of the press on the frequency converter are very simple, that is, the speed can be adjusted through the analog quantity, but the press also has some special places.

First of all, it requires a low frequency torque (electric and braking torque) is relatively large, the flywheel is a large inertial load, high torque can ensure acceleration or deceleration to a specified speed within a certain time.

In addition, in the case of power failure, the frequency converter is required to use the load inertia potential energy of the flywheel to decelerate to a stop according to the set deceleration curve.

Secondly, at the moment of impact, the motor will immediately produce a speed drop. The inverter is required to control the speed and current of this drop to ensure that the speed of the motor is quickly increased to the set speed after the impact is completed. Energy, while ensuring that the inverter current fluctuates within a reasonable range, makes the press work smoothly.
