SPS series product application

1、Mechanical spindle

With a large number of lathes, the current configuration is mainly the asynchronous servo motor + belt + mechanical spindle solution, and very few are synchronous electric spindles (high cost). There are three schemes as follows:

   1.1 Single closed loop or semi closed loop scheme

     In this solution, the servo spindle motor is equipped with an encoder. The spindle can be installed without an encoder. The drive is closed-loop controlled. The frequency division signal is fed back to the system. With a synchronous belt, the spindle can be indexed

.2 Full closed loop or double closed loop scheme

   This program is to control the spindle index more accurately, overcome the deviation caused by the intermediate transmission link, and improve the performance of the equipment

  1.3 False closed loop

  The scheme refers to the original ordinary CNC lathe with ordinary frequency conversion control, the motor does not have an encoder, but the spindle has an encoder. On this basis, the transformation and upgrade is to replace the original frequency converter with SPS and take the spindle encoder signal feedback For the drive, the spindle control has more C-axis functions and supports external zero return or system pulse zero return.

2、 Electric spindle

The electric spindle is widely used in high-speed and high-precision machining, with asynchronous and synchronous shafts, and has certain requirements for speed and torque stability, acceleration and deceleration response, positioning accuracy, positioning strength, etc. The control requirements are mostly closed loop, and the addition of a sine and cosine encoder is conducive to the control of positioning accuracy and positioning force.

3、 Asynchronous servo spindle

It mainly refers to that the load and the motor are directly connected mechanically, without intermediate links, and is mainly used for processing centers, drilling and tapping machines and other equipment.

4、 DDR motor

More functions, higher efficiency, higher precision, and higher time utilization are increasingly appealing to the manufacturing industry. In order to reduce the number of artificial clampings during workpiece processing to improve efficiency, save time, and ensure accuracy, A or B axes (fourth and fifth axes) are compounded on the basis of existing X, Y, and Z axes to meet higher requirements Processing needs.

At present, DDR motors are mostly used in the fourth and fifth axes, which are characterized by low speed, high torque and high multi-point positioning accuracy.
