Introduction to Tunnel Locomotive

 

Tunnel locomotives are often used in urban subway construction. Shield machines are responsible for tunneling. The earth is transported to the terminal by a belt, and the tunnel locomotive is hauled to the ground.

Tunnel locomotives are also used for mine operations, mainly used for long-distance transportation in underground roadways and ground. It is equivalent to the electric locomotive head in railway transportation. Transportation of coal, gangue, materials, equipment and personnel.

The slope of the locomotive transportation is limited, generally 3 ‰, and the local slope cannot exceed 30 ‰.

Taking the mine application scenario as an example, the electric locomotive is divided into mining DC wiring type (ZK type) and mining battery type (XK type)

According to the adhesion quality of electric locomotives, wire-type electric locomotives are: 1.5t, 3t, 7t, 10t, 14t, 20t, 45t, 55t, 65t; battery type are: 2t, 2.5t, 8t, 12t, 45t , 55t, 65t.

According to the gauge of the electric locomotive, it is divided into three types: 600mm, 762mm and 900mm.

According to the voltage level, the wire-type electric locomotive has three types of 100 (97) V, 250V, 550V; the battery type has three levels of 40 / 48V, 110 / 132V, 600 / 660V.

 

 

Introduction to the work of electric locomotives

       Taking the wire-type as an example, the positive electrode is connected to the overhead wire, and the negative electrode is connected to the track. The overhead line is a bare wire erected along the moving track. The pantograph on the locomotive contacts the overhead line and introduces current into the vehicle. It passes through the controller and traction motor on the vehicle and then flows back through the track. The following schematic diagram.

Working process of battery-powered electric locomotive:

The DC power provided by the battery enters the motor through the flameproof plug, controller, and resistance box to drive the motor to run. The electric motor drives the wheels to rotate through the transmission device and pulls the train

When the electric locomotive is running, sparks are inevitably generated between the pantograph and the overhead line. The "Coal Mine Safety Regulations" stipulates that it can only be used in the main transportation roadway with low gas mine intake (full wind pressure ventilation) Non-combustible materials must be used

The battery-powered electric locomotive is powered by the battery carried on the vehicle. The transportation line is not limited, but charging facilities are required, and the battery needs to be replaced when the battery discharges to the specified value.
